Following traditional methods, each piece in this collection is handblown (by mouth) in Marrakesh by local artisans using recycled glass found in the surrounding area.
A Moroccan word, Beldi, means traditional, rural and natural. And it is used to describe many elements of authentic Moroccan culture and items, but perhaps the most world-renowned use is of the beldi glassware. Since its creation in 1946, the beldi glasses have become a genuine Moroccan tradition, and the preferred tea glass of all local families.
These glasses pair well with our Socco Designs Glass Pitcher (pictured).
Socco Designs was developed by a native of Morocco, to preserve traditional Moroccan craftsmanship and share its beauty with the world. Socco Designs cares about Human Relations, Quality, Sustainable Methods, and recycled materials.
